Pre-Op Prep for FUT Hairline Lowering & Eyebrow Transplant

Before surgery, the team sections and secures the hair to fully expose the forehead and brows. Dr. Pak will then mark a soft, micro-irregular hairline lowering design and sketch natural eyebrow transplant shapes that match facial proportions. This mapping step sets direction, angle, and density targets for a natural result.

Under magnification, Dr. Pak creates tiny recipient sites along the new hairline, setting the flow and spacing that will define the hair transplant results. Using FUT allows efficient preparation of grafts for strong frontal density while preserving donor supply.

Closing the Donor Area and Getting Ready to Place Grafts

Here, Dr. Pak is stitching closed the small FUT donor line at the back of the head while the medical technician keeps the patient steady and the front protected. This careful closure helps the line scar stay thin and hidden by hair. Once closed, the team moves on to placing the grafts into the new lowered hairline and the eyebrows so everything grows naturally.

During surgery: Dr. Pak sutures the FUT donor strip while the assistant stabilizes the patient—precise closure before graft placement to hairline and brows.

Graft Placement

With the patient comfortably positioned, the surgical team places follicular unit grafts into the pre-made sites. Attention to hair direction and angulation ensures the lowered hairline and transplanted brows will lie flat and style naturally—key to believable before and after pictures.

Eyebrow Transplant Before and After

Immediately after FUT, you’ll see tiny recipient sites at the hairline and within the brows. Early photos highlight precise placement and hairline shape—not final density.

The exact outline will not show due to swelling and redness and will not be evident until 6-12 months after the procedure.
